It is coming close to the end of the Kickstarter Fundraiser and I am "trusting" that I will get all of the funding needed to move forward. In the meantime, I am taking my camera to downtown Portland in the homeless hub area, talking and taking images of what I find. Here are a few more images to add to the updates! Once the funding is complete, then I will be adding images from the participants and you will be able to follow along with the improvements and stories!
The first image is a person holding up a cartoon that they carry around with them. The cartoon reflects how some of the homeless feel in the streets. Another image is of a mobile shower that sometimes is parked downtown. The showers are free and they have socks, razors and underwear to hand out. I asked if the water is warm and it is! The showers are supplied with shampoo and soap.
